Physical Description: Sentry is a large, imposing figure. He has deep blue eyes and flowing blond hair like that of Thor, and nearly the same build. In place of Asgardian armor though Sentry wears an all yellow costume complimented by dark blue boots, belt, and cape. There's a large S on Sentry's belt, and sometimes it brightly glows (as does he, when he's really pissed off). Personality:The Sentry is a hero at heart, but he has gone through some troubling situations, such as the entire world forgetting that he ever existed. Things like this have compromised Sentry's confidence, and he now suffers some crippling mental disorders. He also found out that his greatest villain, The Void, is actually part of himself. The two are each half of the same person. As such Sentry is very Agoraphobic and hates to leave his house or use his powers in case they get out of control or the Void takes over. Even his own wife fears him. When he does get out of the house, Sentry is often very afraid that what he's seeing may not actually be real, or that his mind is playing tricks on him. He worries that things out of his control are his fault also, such as apologizing after damaging a building in a fight. When not hampered by his madness though, Sentry is kind and childish, almost harmless seeming. He is very closed up, not often revealing his personality to people, making him seem very shy. This is also probably a result of having multiple beings residing within himself. Super Power:The Sentry's abilities derive from an experimental serum that creates a phase-shift in his molecules, causing each atom to step an instant ahead of the current time line. The serum induces a photosynthetic reaction, resulting in a hyper state of consciousness. Though most of his powers and their limits are still unknown, examples he has demonstrated so far are super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, and flight. The Sentry can also project energy fields, control light, and has vast psychic and mental forces mainly used for holding his physical powers together, though it is not yet known whether the Sentry can use them the way Professor X and other psychics use theirs; the only psychic abilities he had displayed so far is implanting his memories inside Paul Jenkins' mind and calming the fury of the Hulk. It may be theorized that the Sentry also has the ability to produce hard-light constructs similar to those of Dazzler's when it was revealed that the Void is just an expression of his repressed persona, and thus his creation. With the people dubbing The Sentry as the world's most powerful superhero, and with the serum causing a photosynthetic reaction to his body, completely altering his state of consciousness, it is nonetheless conceivable that Sentry's powers are limitless, and may even rival those of the Silver Surfer's and Phoenix's. In effect, the Sentry's powers are seemingly limitless. Control of Power:Very little. So little in fact that the Sentry uses his powers as little as possible so that he doesn't loose control of them. Extras:The Sentry has a crippling Agoraphobia. Recent History:During the Super Hero Civil War Sentry sided with Iron Man's pro-registration side. He didn't want to fight his friends though, and instead took refuge with the Inhumans until Tony Stark came and brought him back to the fight. Tony then asked Sentry to join the Mighty Avengers, and moved him and his wife into Stark Tower. During their fight with Ultron Sentry found his wife murdered by their foe, and he went ballistic. He savagely pummeled Ultron, eventually pulling off her head. Once she had been defeated, Sentry's wife was found alive and well at Avenger's Tower, presumably meaning that he had imagined her death. During World War Hulk, Sentry hid out in his house, refusing to come to the aid of the Illuminati. Tony Stark called him, but he wouldn't answer, and he also turned down requests from the President to join in the fight. Sentry was eventually spurred to go battle the Hulk when he saw that Hulk had created a gladiatorial arena and was forcing the hero's to fight to the death. Sentry and Hulk went blow for blow, battling until both were completely drained, causing them to revert back into their human forms. Most recently Sentry helped the Mighty Avengers stop a symbiote invasion of New York, and is now headed to Latveria to confront Doctor Doom, who is allegedly behind the attack.
